The attorney general responded to this and the NM judge who attempted to shield illegal immigrants from deportation.
FBI Director Kash Patel announced that his agency has arrested Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant evade arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest,” Director Patel stated.
A Mexican national was reportedly attending a pre-trial hearing for three counts of misdemeanor battery. ICE agents presented a warrant for his arrest and waited outside Judge Dugan’s courtroom to wait for the proceedings to conclude. Judge Dugan allowed the man and his attorney to exit her courtroom through a private hallway. ICE agents detained the man later that day, and arrested the judge.
During an interview, Attorney General Pam Bondi referred to this arrest as well as one of a New Mexico judge and his wife harbored a suspected member of Tren de Aragua in their home. The attorney general said, “No one is above the law.”
She continued, “If you are destroying evidence, if you are obstructing justice when you have victims sitting in a courtroom of domestic violence and you’re escorting a criminal defendant out a back door, it will not be tolerated and it is a crime in the United States of America. Doesn’t matter who you are, you’ll be prosecuted.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Attorney General Bondi and FBI Director Patel to seek God’s guidance as they head efforts to uphold immigration laws.
- For FBI and other federal law enforcement officials as they seek to detain violent illegal aliens.
- For federal, state, and local judges to uphold the nation’s immigration laws.
